Put Oil in Frying Pan We use canola oil for several reasons. First, it has no trans fat. Second, it is low in saturated fat. Third, it has no cholesterol. Fourth, it does not smoke at high temperatures. By all means use your favorite oil. Three bowls sit nearby, the potatoes, onions and the turkey. They then can be added at the right moment.
