17. Use Pastry Cutter

Use a pastry cutter and cut in the butter into the flour mixture. From time to time use a table knife to clear the clumps of butter from the cutter. Keep at it and soon the mixture will be well cut in. Relax and enjoy the moment, it's not a speed contest. From time to time scrape the bottom and sides with your cutter.
