Making Gingerbread Men
Measuring Out the Flour We use our old flour sifter to sift the flour. Sitting along side is our 1 gallon jar we use to store flour. Old-fashioned, but it keeps the bugs out of the flour. You sift flour for several reasons. It makes sure there is no lumps in the flour and it fluffs up the flour. We put the flour into the sifter which sits on our four-cup measuring cup. You need 3 and 1/4 cups of flour for a single batch. ⇦ Back to Step 7 On to Step 9 ⇨Return to Gingerbread Men - Page 1 |
