We Mix up the Batter

Now the batter is being mixed up. Paul does the job but Bernice poses for the photo. Paul takes most of the pictures but we both do the jobs. Paul gets his turn after a photo is taken. The mixture will be quite thick until the apples are added in. Paul will scrape the sides during this step. He will also stop the mixer and scrape the bottom well. The mixer should be set on the lowest speed.
