17. Begin Patching

We need to cut fairly evenly lengths of dough for our swirls. So we trimmed some of the ragged edges of the rolled out dough using a kitchen knife. We used the trimmed edges to patch the uneven sides to be square. Here Bernice dips a patch in cold water to get it wet to be used as a patch. The patches we cut to the size and shape needed to make the dough relatively square.
