22. Four Chase Kids

The four Chase children are at play. Pictured left to right is Bernice, Barbara, Gwen and Rodney. The little red doll bed was made by my uncle Garland. We loved to put Barbara in it and push her around. She liked the attention. Most of the time she liked it until Rodney pushed to hard. We only had one small stretch of sidewalk in front of the house so we couldn't go too far. Rodney didn't like to play with us girls and spent most of his time working with his Dad on the farm. Rodney had to rake the leaves up from the large maple tree in the front yard. He wanted to cut the tree down.
