This shows the wedding photo of Chester Chase and Veda Griffith. They were married on her birthday October 24, 1924. She was 21 and Chester was 27. He was born in 1897 in Eugene, Oregon. They met in the First Baptist Church in Springfield Oregon when her family moved to Springfield and bought property on D Street in Springfield. They bought property on the McKenzie River that would become Royaldel farms. Veda came up with the name for the cattle business.
