This picture shows Gwendolyn Chase's Springfield High School graduation portrait. She graduated in 1945. She was an accomplished pianist and had a long career with the U.S. State Department working in Japan and Hong Kong. She died young in 1968 of cancer. She was always helpful to me and my family. She took care of our young babies on several occasions.
