56. Truck Loaded for Market

The pie cherry crop has been picked and will soon be on its way to the cannery in Corvallis. I loved to ride on the truck to the cannery. Dad would drop us off at a swimming pool on the way and pick us up on the way back. He would also pick up servicemen hitchhiking on the way back during the war. The building is the old apple house, used to store the apple crop.
