Linfield College was a wonderful period in my life. It marked my first experience outside my sheltered life in Springfield and my close family there. It opened the world to me both academically and socially. For the first time in my life I was totally free and forced to make my own decisions. I loved the beautiful campus and hello spirit (saying hello to everyone you met). I was forced to overcome my shyness and to participate in many campus activities. I concentrated on learning and the parties came last.
