Shawn Chen's Mother and Father

After the visit to Shanna Chen's Big Bear Lake, Shanna asked us to drive the senior Chen's home. We drove them to their home in Reseda, California. Waiting until Shanna and the rest of the Big Bear Lake crowd to join us we had some time to view their home with their permission. On the wall we saw some delightful photographs of their nuclear family. We loved this portrait of them taken some time ago. Mr. Chen had been an engineer and Mrs. Chen a pharmacist. Both had been imprisoned during the Cultural Resolution and Shawn and Shanna had been left to fend for themselves.
