15. Dr. Claude C. Crawford - My Uncle CC

CC's house was in the elite part of Los Angeles. It was a very big house with three floors. He and Ina never had any kids but treated us and our family very well. He helped my Mom (Myra) financially to afford to complete her college degree. In order for her to go to the university members of the extended Crawford took us boys in for weeks at a time. I remember staying with CC and Ina several times. CC spent a lot of time teaching me to tie my shoes. It took many times for me to learn. I was about 4-5. He took time to expose me to learning to read good books. He had, to a tiny boy, thousands of books in book cases that went from floor to the tall ceiling.
