Henry Scott Crawford Clan
19. A very Young Aunt Ava
I discovered this portrait of Aunt Ava in some things my mother left in her
things after Mom died. I never knew her this young.
Ava Pace Crawford was the daughter of the late Julius Pace, a younger son of the
large pioneer family of William A. Pace of Selado, Texas and Mary Sue Boyle
Pace, daughter of the large family of James Boyle of Mississippi, and whose
grandfather came over to America from the Emerald Isle. Ava was a soloist and
organist and was active in the church work with her Pastor husband.
