My name Paul came from my Dad's sister Pauline, My middle name Stanley came from a comrade of my Dad who died in his arms during fighting in World War I in France.

Pauline, who was known a Polly was a dancer who danced on the stage in New York and other places. She was always kind to us kids and died in her 90s. She lived our her last days in Seattle, Washington. She married but had no kids. I think she looked on us boys as her substitute kids.
