17. Chet Grooms his Lamb

Here at the Alameda County Fair Chet prepared his lamb for the judging contest. The 4H lads must wash the lamb, trim the wool smooth, fluff up the wool and teach it to behave in the ring. The boys and girls must do their own work and travel to the fair to feed and water their animals. Some stay and sleep at the fair to avoid the travel and to watch their animals. These stands make the job easier.
