27. Landon Checks on the Bees

Landon checked brood frame to check on the progress of the eggs and hatching cells. The boys learned much about taking care of bees. In one year we harvested over a hundred quarts of honey. We learned how to capture swarms and start new colonies of bees. The tool Landon holds he uses to pry the frames loose from the hive body.
