13. We Buy a Champion Ram

The second year the boys entered the 4H sheep project Mom and Dad purchased a quality ram to breed the ewes. This ram, the big one on the right, had won the Grand Championship Ram at the county fair. It costs $150 dollars but produced excellent lambs for the boys. We named him "Vindicator."
