18. JC Makes Loren a New Car

Crawford, or JC as he now refers to himself made Loren a car. I thought it a masterpiece. He fashioned it in the form of a racing car. Rather sophisticated it had steering. If you look closely you can see the bar that moves the front wheels. I thought it rather clever design for JC's age. It became a great hit with Loren. JC painted bright red. Loren played with it often and enjoyed the excitement of driving it as he described it. JC used real wheels where I had just cut circles out of wood.
