21. Aunt Ava

This is my Mother's older brother Pastor Roy Crawford's wife, my Aunt Ava. Bernice and I flew our plane down to Winters, Texas to visit her. We took Aunt Ava up in our plane for a ride and she loved it. She told the friends she was taking flying lessons and some believed her. Uncle Roy had passed on. Winters, Texas is the birthplace of my mother Myra. We went to Ava's Church and I was asked to speak to the members in memory of their departed Pastor Roy. We met several old ladies who knew my mother as a child when she lived there in 1905. Bernice and I painted part of her house while we stayed there with her.
