17. Major Mark Daniel Noll

My Dad is shown here about to begin a ten-mile march with his unit. He is the Commander of the 3rd Battalion 49th Quartermaster Truck Regiment. This was taken at Fort Bliss, Texas. Good Officers always march with their men. My Dad was a good Officer. I visited him in Seattle at times. In 1949 I drove to Seattle see him and my Grampa just before I joined the army.
