23. Myra Noll Webster

This is a portrait of my Mother Myra Lee Noll. She was born on July 11th, 1905. She died August 13, 1991 at the age of 86 in San Luis Obispo California. The cause of death was Congestive Heart Failure.

She was actually born in a covered wagon on the way from Georgia to Texas. When they arrived in Winters, Texas, as was the custom, they registered her birth in Winters, Runnels County, Texas. The family lived in town for a while and then out to a farm outside the city. She grew up there until much later when the family moved to Los Angeles, California. The family consisted of brothers Claude, Howard, Roy, Fred, and sisters Myra and Jo. There were several other children who did not survive birth or childhood.

Mother's parents both died in an auto accident in their convertible before my Mother was married. Her father was Henry Scott Crawford born in Georgia. Her Mother was Mamie Lou Abernathy born in Texas. She graduated from the University of California. She worked for many years as a teacher in Riverside California. She had four sons, Mark Donald, James Crawford, Paul Stanley, and Loren Alen.
