2. Royaldel Farms Cattle Business

The cattle business became an important part of Royaldel Farms in this year. Dad Chet really enjoyed the cattle business. They sold very expensive breeding Hereford cows and bulls to places all over the world. On another year they engaged in the pig business. They sold expensive Landrace breeding stock to countries here and overseas. One measure of their success lay in their ability to change crops when needed. During the war years they grew flax used to make linen.
