Paul Sands Slats

The two front benches looked quite shabby. The oaken wood parts had weathered quite badly. The temptation to sit down on them did not exist. We purchased a belt sander and some sandpaper. Paul spent some time sanding the slats them. First sanding them with a rough belt and then with a flat sander with fine grit sandpaper. This followed with two coats of polyurethane with fine sanding after each coat.
