We, Bernice, Chet and Landon, flew into Death Valley at Thanksgiving, which is the busiest time of the year. They had no rooms at the Inn so we slept under the plane for the night. The airport had a shack quite small. We walked into Furnace Creek area. That lies about a mile from the airport. We went on some guided tours with a Ranger. He let us ride in his truck to the walk area. We felt lucky when the Thanksgiving ended and the cars with their trailers lined up mile after mile going home and we got home is a few hours flying our plane. Coyotes kept us awake at night with their howling.
