Ruby Pappas smiles as she views the scenery on the way to the Nut Tree. We enjoyed taking friends to dinner at the Nut Tree. We once took my Mom there and it began to snow on the way back.

During its time the Nut Tree welcomed several celebrities, including Ronald Reagan when he became California governor in 1967, Richard Nixon, Queen Elizabeth II, Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby, among others.
