A Bad Start Ends Well

This tree seems to have, at times, lost its way. It started out in the right direction and for some reason not known to us lost focus. Heading downward for a while it regained its equilibrium to again head for the sky. The end seems to be good and a healthy tree here can be appreciated. We, as humans, seem to lose our way. Someone, God or a friend, perhaps even one sent by God, steps in and set us on a better course.
