Fine personal craftmanship has been taken over by robotic machines. I saw a robotic machine that took a piece of wood and machine had finished, a complete rifle stock was ready for finishing. It certainly reduces the price but have we lost something. The fine old hand handmade were heirloom things that people treasured. But on the other side few could afford the cost.
