No. 1 star, ahead of Paul Muni and Bette Davis. In 1938 he was 3# just behind Bette Davis and Paul Muni. By 1939 he was No. 3 again, this time behind Bette Davis and James Cagney. In 1940 and 1941 he was again Warner Bros. No. 1 top Box Office draw for both years. Jaguar made its name by producing a series of successful eye-catching sports cars, the all embodying yons' mantra of "value for money".
