Selection of 60 of God's Wonders - Scene 31
Turtle Riding a Jellyfish Jellyfish or jellies are the major non-polyp form of individuals of the phylum Cnidaria. They are typified as free-swimming marine animals consisting of a gelatinous umbrella-shaped bell and trailing tentacles. In this remarkable shot we see a toy turtle catching a ride on a jellyfish. Initially some thought it was a real turtle, but turtles are actually known to prey on jellyfish, so Reddit user AmbiguousStatement did some detective work and discovered that it was actually a toy turtle. Regardless it's an awesome capture and one that makes you do a double take. |
