Korean Mother and Child

In a remote mountain village this group of families remained safe from a country set into the horrors of war. Our radio station was near to the village and I often took milk and precious food to share with them They returned more to me in friendship. It was my haven from the war for hours at a time. It was a great comfort for this teenager to know these people and their hospitality.

A child is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms or on your back for three years, and in your heart till the day you die.
