35. Stump

When we bought this place many stumps of past trees dotted the land. Paul undertook the task of sawing off all the stumps even with the ground so mowing would be easier. Stumps ranged from 6 inches across to 4 feet. He removed some 244 stumps with a fourteen inch electric chain saw. It took some 8 chains and about 6 months to complete the job .
