Michael McCurdy - My Stay at the Lark Ellen Home for Boys - 1963- 1965

My name is Michael McCurdy. I was a resident of the Lark Ellen Home for Boys from 1963 to 1965. I was 13 when I arrived and 15 when I left. While there I participated in what was called the "Devil Pup" program at camp Pendleton. It was a 10 day program which had us go through a sort of boot camp for 10 days. Quite grueling.
