William (Bill) Woody - My Stay at the Lark Ellen Home for Boys - 1949 - 1953

My name is William (Bill) Woody. I lived at Lark Ellen between the years 1949 and 1953. I was 13 when I entered there.

I attended Jr. High in Westwood (Emerson) from 1949 to 1950. I attended Citrus High in Azusa. Carl Miller was the director of the home during this period. Some the boys I remember are: Terry Barney, Andy Peterson, Eddie Givens, Buddy Miller (director's son) and Eddie Bjorklund. Will send more information later.
