Hahn's Ivy Hedera helix We planted some of this ivy in February of 2005. It covers our Electric High Voltage transformer in our small circle. The electric company had to replace the transformer that had been covered with ivy. They bought some more to replace the ones that became destroyed when digging out the old transformer. Hahn's Ivy can stand temperatures down to -10 degrees F. It has free branching ivy with small light green leaves. It bears white to greenish flowers only on mature plants. Drought tolerance is good. Adaptive to most soil types with good drainage. Watering in the summer will create optimum lushness. Prune away from trees and boundaries. It also grows in the front of our garage. ⇦ Back to Previous Flower On to Next Flower ⇨Hi-Res Pic (211K) |
