Flowers Growing at our Home Common Mallow Malva neglecta This annual to short-lived perennial has a long and tough taproot. The extensive branched stems spread over the ground. The leaves have long stalks and roundish to broadly heart-shaped blades that are coarsely toothed and shallowly lobed. Common Mallow, introduced from Europe, has now spread throughout North America.
