Oregon Crab

Malus Fusca Native to western North America, sometimes cultivated in eastern states and in Europe. The wood has been used in western America to make tools, tool handles and suchlike, as it is hard and heavy. Height to about 6-12 meters (20-40 feet). Flowers are about 1.8cm (3/4 inch) across and open in clusters of 6-12 in May. Fruit are oval and may be red or yellow. This beauty of ours is actually two trees about 40 feet high.
