Wild Plum

Trees Growing at our Pleasant Hill Home

Wild Plum

Rosaceae Deciduous fruit tree. This one is along our 1/2 mile long driveway. Bears small yellow plums with a pit like a cherry. Good tasting. Tree is about 20-25 feet high. Tree is very vigorous and has no blight. We are not sure of the variety. It has been there for many years. It looks like a bird contributed it. It is growing next to a wild crabapple. It is near the Winter Pear tree. Bernice is seen testing the fruit. We both liked them. Alas the new neighbors have cut down both trees.
