Blue Spruce

Picea glaucia Evergreen Tree. Positive gray blue color. We have one of these as a gift from a friend in 2000. It is about 5 feet high with almost a foot of growth in the year (2001). The tree has done well. By 2003 it grew to about 10 feet high. In 2005 it grew to about 12 feet. The California Quail love to hide under its branches. Bernice, by contrast, stands 5 foot 2 inches high. This picture taken in 2007.
