We had elected to have River Roofing to leave the old cedar shakes for two reasons. First was the $1000 fee for disposing of the them in a landfill. Second was to save the landfill of the shakes. We decided to put the shakes through our chipper. That job is now completed and we have a huge pile of chips to place on our flower areas.
