49. Electric Chain Saw - Sears Craftsman

We have worked this tool to it's death. We have to replace it once after the first one died form overwork. In our woodlot and pasture we cut even with the ground some 244 stumps so we could mow easier. Some of the stumps exceeded 5 foot in diameter. This 14 inch electric saw did the trick. The first one died after only 212 stumps. Some laugh at my 14 inch saw but it starts each time without fail unlike gasolene saws. I like to make stands for my portable power tools so they store safely on a shelf without damage and mess. I keep two chains so one can be sharpened while using the other. Four dollars gets them sharpened professionally. Our Electric Chain Saw is a Sears Craftsman 14 inch Bar Model No. 358.341250. It has a 2.5 HP motor.
