Chet Leland Noll's Fifteenth Birthday

Chet always had liked colorful shirts. He had started going skiing with the Van Den Berg boys, David and John, who lived quite near us. David and Chet liked to hike in the hills around our house. There were many acres of open land across the street from us and the boys spent a lot of time exploring there. One time they found an old house and collected many old hand made square headed nails from the remains of the old house.
