Chet Noll's French Double-manual Harpsichord

Reproduction of a French Double-manual Harpsichord by Pascal Taskin, 1769

This French Double-manual harpsichord was build by Chet Noll from a kit by Hubbard Harpsichords in 1976. It is currently owned and used by the Oakland Symphony in Oakland, CA. It has a walnut case with ebony keys and pear arcades. It has a disposition of upper: 1 x 8', lower manual 1 x 8', 1 x 4' peau de buffle, shove coupler, and transposing keyboards.
