Crimson Topaz (Topaza pella)

This hummingbird spends most of its life 150 feet above the ground, foraging in the flowered canopy of the rain forest. Only occasionally can it be seen, on the branches overhanging streams. It stands 13 high. Hummingbird is 4 by 5 Inches.
