4. Arcadia Beach Ocean View

On the south side of Tillamook Head, bordering Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park provides stunning views of the coastline and the Tillamook Rock lighthouse offshore. There are picnic sites, paved trails to viewpoints and a two-mile hiking trail to Indian Beach. You can also drive to Indian Beach where a trail from the small parking lot offers beach access to the short rocky shore and sandy beach popular with surfers and surf kayakers. A hiking trail extends six miles across Tillamook Head to south Seaside, following the route taken by several members of Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery almost 200 years ago.
