Hug Point State Park, Oregon Coast 4. Path to the Beach This is a beautiful beach and a great place to walk, enjoy the coastal scenery or beachcomb. Caution to visitors; be aware of the tide! It is possible to become stranded at high tide when exploring the point. Take a look at the stagecoach trail, the view of Haystack Rock, a small waterfall and the two caves around the point, but have a plan before straying too far. Pick up a tide book at one of the local shops, have fun and be safe. There is no fee to use this park.
