1. Downtown Depoe Bay

A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area that enables you to shop or dine always within view of the ocean. Depoe Bay has the distinction of being the only town on the entire coast with this amenity. Salt-water taffy in many flavors can be purchased in many shops. You can also watch the taffy being pulled by machine, and then being wrapped by machines. We always enjoy watching it being made. Numerous shops sell all manner of nautical items.
