7. The Tide Pool

The tide pool at Seal Rock State Park is a wonderful place for kids to see the activity in the pools that are there for your viewing at low tide. When the tide is at low ebb, you can walk almost out to the row of rocks. In the area on the shoreward side of the rocks are other rocks that have many interesting sea creatures to investigate. Read the signs about not harming the creatures and to preserve them for the next person. You can get tide tables from most every establishment on the coast. Plan to get there at low tide if you wish to explore the tide pools.
