4. Our Dinner Table

Here you can see our campsite at spot 5 or 7. Chet keeps busy playing in the sand and exploring. We used a Coleman gas stove to cook and purchased food in nearby Waldport some 4 miles to the north. Bernice loves to go camping because Paul did all the cooking. Of course, she did the cleanup. We always had a fire going in the evening to sit around. We have taken a trailer with this time to collect some driftwood. We made a number of pieces of driftwood furniture with them. We once sold a story to Sunset Magazine on how and where to find good driftwood. That financed some of our Oregon camping trips.
