Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, Oregon Coast 7. Sign to Lookout and Campground Just a short distance from the Visitors Center on Highway 101 lies a road and sign to take you to either the lookout (Overlook) or the campground. You can drive to the top of take a trail to the lookout. We sometimes take visitors to the top to look and Paul drives back down so they can take the trail back down to the waiting car. Paul will then walk up the trail to meet them. The campground has 25 sites and remains open from May 12 through October 25. Camping fees are $15 a day, half price for Golden Age Passports.
