9. Secluded Campground Campsite

Tillicum Beach Campground is located about 5 miles from Waldport at an elevation of 20 feet. Set among spruces where the Alsea River empties into the ocean, this beautiful campground has 59 sites. Campers come here to relax, collect shells, boat on and fish in the river, hike, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Full hookups are available. Phone service is available to the campground managers if they wish to pay for it. The area managers work here with one other couple to care for this facility. Hours are salaried for the area managers. Camp manager hours are 25 hours per week per couple during the regular season and 35 hours per week per couple during the peak season. This campground is open year round.
